Bello Bodejo, the leader of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has been brought before a Federal High Court in Abuja by the Federal Government.
Kungiya Zaman Lafiya, an ethnic militia group, is alleged to have been established and illegally supported by Bodejo.
On Friday, the office of the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, brought a three-count charge against him, alleging that he had broken the Terrorism (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.
When the charge was read to Bodejo, he pleaded not guilty, and Justice Inyang Ekwo ordered that he remain in the custody of the Defense Intelligence Agency, DIA.
The trial was postponed until May 27 by Justice Ekwo.
