A trailer stacked with 369 sacks of iron monazite has been captured by the agents of the Taraba State Exceptional Taskforce Panel in Garba Chede town of Bali nearby government committee of the state.
The captured things which TRIBUNE POINT learnt merited a financial worth of over N20 million, were said to have been found in a trailer with enrollment number KWM 427 XA Gombe State.
An individual from the panel, who talked with our columnist, said the trailer stacked the iron monazite from Serti, the regulatory central command of the Gashaka neighborhood government committee.
As per him, the agents of the unique taskforce board captured the trailer while on a concentrated watch across the focal zone of the state where iron monazite is gotten in huge amounts.
Responding to the capture, the Executive of the taskforce, resigned General Jeremiah Aliyu Faransa, promised the STF’s complete obligation to playing out its obligations, saying moving ahead is the only option in doing what will help the state.
Iron monazite is a mineral asset utilized in growing high-innovation weapons and airplane parts.
The captured guilty parties are Abdulrahaman Nuhu thirty (30) and Abdulmaleek Zubairu (28).
Others are Abdullahi Khalil (25), Musa Bawa Galadima (38), Mohammed Abubakar (32), Ayuba Musa (22), and Abubakar Abba Hashim (25).
The state government had said it was losing immense income to the unlawful diggers, provoking the initiation of the advisory group.
Lead representative Agbu Kefas had set up Chief Request 5 to lay out the unique taskforce panel individuals to check the overabundances of diggers in the state.
