In Rivers State, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, has detained nine alleged internet fraudsters.
On Thursday, the Commission made this clear in a statement on its X page.
The EFCC stated that actionable information regarding the suspects’ alleged involvement in internet-related offenses led to their arrest.
Various brands of cell phones, PCs, two vehicles and a few implicating reports were recuperated from the suspects.
The counter unite organization said they will before long be charged to court when examinations are finished up.
