A cure for sickle cell disease? Young boy might be the first person to be cured

A 12-year-old kid with sickle cell illness, Kendric Cromer, is the main patient in the US to seek quality treatment.

Universally, there are around 50 million individuals with sickle cell illness (SCD), with four to 6,000,000 of those cases happening in Nigeria, where 1 of every 4 individuals have the quality. NBC Washington says that 100,000 Americans have sickle cell infection.
A therapy for sickle cell illness was reported recently, and there might be a fix not too far off.

Kendric is getting therapy at Youngsters’ Public Medical clinic in Washington, D.C., and toward the finish of the following year, he could turn into the main sickle cell patient to be mended with quality treatment. Deb Cromer, his mom, has been by him side and she is hopeful he’ll be relieved.
