Nasiru Salisu sacked a support as El-Kanemi Champions crushed Abia Fighters 2-0 in the last of the President Organization Cup.
El-Kanemi Warriors won their third title in competition history.
Salisu had a penalty saved in the ninth minute, before giving the Maiduguri club the lead two minutes after the half hour mark.
He multiplied the lead a little ways from time.
Aliyu Zubairu’s team outplayed Abia Warriors, who were competing for the first time in the competition’s final.
As part of their reward for winning the competition, El-Kanemi will play in the CAF Confederation Cup the following season.
